One of my daughter's pet rabbits died yesterday but

A store manager overheard a clerk saying to a
customer, "No, ma'am, we haven't had any for some
weeks now, and it doesn't look as if we'll be getting
any soon."
Alarmed by what was being said, the manager rushed
over to the customer who was walking out the door
and said, "That isn't true, ma'am.
Of course, we'll have some soon.
In fact, we placed an order for it a couple of weeks
ago."
Then the manager drew the clerk aside and growled,
"Never, never, never, never say we don't have
something.
If we don't have it, say we ordered it and it's on its
way.
Now, what was it she wanted?"
The clerk smiled and said...
"Rain..."

Little Johnny watched, fascinated, as his mother
smoothed cold cream on her face.
'Why do you do that, mommy?' he asked.
'To make myself beautiful,' said his mother,
who then began removing the cream with a tissue.
'What's the matter?' asked Little Johnny.... 'Giving up?'

There was a sandwich machine in a Norwegian
factory.
Olaf didn't quite understand what the machine was
about though.
He went to the machine and put his money in the
machine and got one sandwich.
He was so excited, he put more of his money into the
machine and received another sandwich.
Finally he had a huge pile of sandwiches.
Another worker was wondering what Olaf was doing:
"Olaf, don't you think you should stop now?"
What the hell are you babbling about?!
I am just starting to win big!"

This morning after I got into the shower,
I found there was no shampoo.
I reached out of the shower and found a new bottle
on the counter.
It worked well, but I didn't realize until later when
I put my glasses back on that it was dog shampoo.
The day went as usual, until this afternoon.
On my way home, I saw a German Shepard that
kinda turned me on, and all evening I've been
dragging my butt on the carpets!

There is, I am reliably informed, a certain potion that
can be taken orally, that helps you forget your
troubles.
It is offered in various categories of potency and can
be purchased 'over the counter'.
How much is consumed and the time period lapsed
from memory, depends upon your constitution.
There can be side effects, usually felt next day, and
sometimes, even that same evening!
This potion's effectiveness may be acceptable for the
consumer, however, the people around you are not
affected and as such, will remember quite well and
often vividly, what you are trying to forget!
This potion is often produced under several different
labels, though I think that the most common one is
'alcohol'.

My wife came in starving today....
so I made her a great big ham and cheese sandwich.
"Don't eat it yet, just hold the plate" I said.
Five minutes later I took it and threw it in the trash.
"What the hell?!" she snarled.
"Remember this feeling," I said.
"Next time you come to bed all sexy, in a nightie,
smelling gorgeous and ask me just to hold you."

A young, freshly minted lieutenant was sent to

During a briefing on land mines, the captain asked

Our intrepid solder raised his hand and asked,
"If we do happen to step on a mine, Sir, what do we

"Normal procedure, Lieutenant, is to jump 200 feet
in the air and scatter oneself over a wide area."

A large defense contractor finally succeeded in
building a computer able to solve any strategic or
tactical problem.
Military leaders assembled in front of the new
machine and were instructed to feed a difficult
tactical problem into it.
They described a hypothetical situation to the
computer and then asked the pivotal question,
"Attack or retreat?"
The computer hummed away for an hour and then
came up with the answer, "Yes."
The generals looked at each other, stupefied.
Finally one of them submitted a second request to
the computer, "Yes what?"
Instantly the computer responded, "Yes, Sir!."

Judi asked what the difference was.

Judi thought about it for a second and answered.
"Just get the one without the horn.
I don't think we'll run into too much traffic out here."

A repairman arrived within the hour!
A friend of mine was a frequent user of a pay

Repeated requests for repair brought only promises.

contacted and told that there was no longer a rush.
The phone was now working fine--except that all
money was being returned upon completion of each
call.
A repairman arrived within the hour!

He couldn't afford the repayments and the bank
repossessed his house and land, leaving him with
