Did you know?

Man's life expectancy varies from country to country, but even in the poorest countries in the world, it is still above 40 years.

In the Stone Age, the average life expectancy of a cave dweller was 18 years.

When I became the manager of an ice cream stand where my teenage son was working, I wasn't sure how he'd react.

Then I overheard him telling a friend that it was pretty cool have me as his boss.

"Yeah", he went on, "now I get paid for listening to him tell me what to do."

Finally, our last mortgage payment.

To make a ceremony of it, we went to the bank and paid in person.

The teller processed everything and handed me the closing papers.

Heading for the door, I suddenly remembered a rebate check I'd brought along to cash.

I went back to the same teller.

"Sorry, we can't do that," she explained.

"You don't have an account here."

They've finally come up with the perfect office computer.

it makes a mistake, it blames another computer.

It seemed that all our appliances had broken in the same week and repairs were straining our budget.

So when I picked up the kids from school and our Jeep started making rattling sounds, I decided that rather than burden my Wife, I'd deal with it.

I hadn't reckoned on my little tattletales, however.

They rushed into the house with the news: "Mommy, the Jeep was breaking down, but Dad made the noise stop!"

Impressed, my wife asked, "How did you fix it?"

"I turned up the volume on the radio," I confessed.

A hole has been found in the nudist camp wall.

The police are looking into it.
